In the kitchen scene at Stu's house Billy drops the phone on Stu
and Stu says "Aaahh! Hit me with the phone dick!". This
was an accident and not in the script, but it worked so well that
it was left in the film. Other lines that Matthew Lillard made up
include "I always had a thing for ya Sid!"
Dewey Riley was supposed to die from his injuries at the end of
Scream, but test audience liked him so much that he survived,
using footage that was shot during filming "just in case".
